Hypnotherapy can help you reduce chronic pain, improve GI symptoms, reduce anxiety, quit smoking, lose weight, and overcome phobias.
It works by accessing an individual’s subconscious, accessing their emotions, and understanding themselves. Much of what we do is focused on the long-term benefits of changing a lifestyle.
WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY?
Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses the mind to treat a variety of behavioral, physical, and psychological conditions. Hypnotherapy uses a trance-like state to heighten focus and concentration. The experience produces a sense of calm and relaxation and you will be more open to suggestion.
Hypnotherapy is used to gain control over undesired behaviors or help manage anxiety or pain. While you may be open to suggestion during hypnosis, you don’t lose control over your behavior.
Hypnotherapy has been studied to control anxiety, pain, menopausal symptoms, insomnia, smoking, and overeating. It can ease the side effects of cancer treatments. Hypnotherapy is also helpful in controlling anxiety, phobias, and post-traumatic stress (PTSD.)
